ONE ON ONE WITH JOSH DUGAS

Josh is in his second year with the Leduc Riggers and his second year as a defenceman.  Though he models his play after Brian Campbell, his favourite hockey player is Mark Messier.  Josh notices two big differences between this season and last.  The first is coaching followed by this year’s team speed.  I hope he means that this season’s team is faster than last seasons!

Number 16 for the Riggers has some lofty ambitions for the future when he is done playing hockey as Josh sees himself either getting his Millwright Journeyman’s ticket or potentially as an officer with the Edmonton Police Service.  In his down time, Josh likes to hang out and also has made working out a priority in his life.  When it comes to music, Buck Cherry and AC/DC are two of his favourite bands.  Other sports that Josh likes to play include Ball hockey, Boxing and Wakeboarding.  One of Josh’s favourite hockey memories is going to Provincials two years in a row when he played hockey in Millet.
