Sponsorship Update Sheet to Existing and Potential Sponsors

As an organization we deeply appreciate the support we receive from you.  Our executive is comprised of entrepreneurs that, like yourself, want value for the dollars spent on sponsorship and advertising.  Some of the benefits and activities of the Leduc Junior B Riggers are listed below and demonstrate why you should become a “Rigger” supporter.

1.   Most recognized sports team in Leduc entering its 43 consecutive year of operation.

2.   Community based organization – high percentage of players are local

3.   Typical player profile – young men that often settle and raise their families in our community (potential neighbours and customers)

4.   Players often seek employment locally during their playing years.

5.   Hockey is a popular sport in Leduc and the season runs for 7-8 months.  This means that your ad runs constantly for that period.

6.   Riggers have an excellent working relationship with the local newspapers and are constantly in the news.

7.   Each week, during the long winter, we host an inexpensive evening of great entertainment at the newly constructed Leduc Recreation Centre.

8.   As an organization we support other local clubs ie.  Boys and Girls Club, Food Bank, Special Olympics, Leduc Minor Hockey and others

9.   Organization involves many local people and promotes the concept of shopping locally and supporting our sponsors in our spending habits.

10.  Adds to the quality of life in our community by giving our youth something positive to focus on.  Helps build good citizens.

 Leduc Junior B Riggers Sponsorship Program for the 2010/2011 Season

 The Leduc Jr. B Riggers welcome you the 2010/2011 season and invite you to be a part of the Rigger Sponsorship Program.  We offer this program confident that it will meet your expectations and give great value for your investment in our team.

 The Rigger Sponsorship Program offers the following levels:

 Gold Sponsorship – $800 for the season

 -         a week of advertising throughout the city on 4 large billboard signs which

           prominently displays your name to the public

-          ½ page ad in our program that is available at each home game

-          Internet ad on our website that will periodically feature your business

-          Acknowledgement of your support during the season by public address

           announcements at our games 

-          Acknowledgement of your sponsorship in local newspapers

-          Plaque given to you as memoir of your support

-          Plasticized poster that can be displayed at your place of business

-          60 tickets to any regular season home games  

 Silver Sponsorship – $400 for the season

-          ¼ page ad in our program

-          Internet ad on our website

-          Plasticized poster that can be displayed at your place of business

-          30 tickets to any regular season home game

 Bronze Sponsorship - $250 for the season

-          business card sized ad in our program

-          Internet ad on our website

-          Plasticized poster that can be displayed at your place of business

-          18 tickets to any regular season home game

 This upcoming year will be a very exciting and memorable one for the Riggers and their supporters.  We proudly announce that we have been awarded the Junior B provincials in the spring of 2011.  Alberta has 55 communities that have Junior B teams which vie for this prestigious event and to be chosen as the host is certainly a great honour.  As a result our team will be receiving extra attention and exposure in and around our community.  This makes it a great year to get on board as a sponsor and contribute to the success of the team!!
